-----------------------MINUTES ---------------------------
Mike LaBonte conducted the meeting.

Call for opens and IBIS related patent disclosures:

- No one declared a patent.

- Mike: Reminder that we decided to meet every two weeks going forward

- Mike: IBIS Spice Subcircuits was incorrectly called IBIS Interconnect
  Spice in the previous minutes

AR Review:

- Mike ask David Banas if he might be able to join us
  - Email sent, no word yet.

- Mike email IBIS Spice Subcircuits link to IQ list
  - Done

- Mike ask Walter about ISS readiness
  - Mike: This was discussed in the last ATM meeting
  - Anders: We should take up the matter anyway
  - Mike: The ATM group still owns it
  - Bob: Would Mike take over editing the document?
    - ISS is not important because we already have HSPICE
  - Mike: But IBIS keywords cannot reference HSPICE
  - Bob: It's not passive because it has equations
    - It needs a page by page review

- Mike ask Antonio Orlandi to join us
  - Email sent, no reply yet.
  - This was to discuss software for FSV analysis
  - Anders: We could ask Bruce Archambeault
  - Bob: Antonio may want to sell the software in the future

AR: Bob send Antonio Orlandi email address to Mike

- Moshiul find reference and test data sets for some example model
  - Moshiul sent a spreadsheet to Mike

New items:

Reports from the IBIS summit at SPI:
- Bob: Hans Klaus Semtech was most quality related
  - Referenced the IQ checklist
  - Altera IBIS file with 300 models would be a daunting task
  - Very time consuming
- Mike: FPGA and ASIC models are reused many times
  - Only need to check them once
- Anders: Also there were presentations on s-param quality

Sample test data document from Moshiul:
- Mike showed the spreadsheet from Moshiul
- Moshiul: A simple T-line fixture is used
  - 34 ohm driver, receiver with 50 ohm ODT
  - Have to ignore a few cycles because the pattern starts differently
- Bob: It is a problem that the patterns are different
  - The FSV will depend on the chosen subset
- Mike: It would be nice to have more cycles
- Moshiul: Should we have a case with poor correlation?
- Mike: We should have more than one data set to work with
- Bob: Maybe something with pre-emphasis

AR: Mike put Moshiul's sample data into archive

Mike showed the ISS meeting minutes:
- This was a concatenation of all discussion about ISS
- Bob: This is confusing
  - It would be better to look at the ISS document to see what it needs

Mike showed the ISS document:
- Bob: It needs a lot of work
  - Chapter numbers from HSPICE are retained
  - There are strange characters

Bob: Will anyone discuss quality at the DAC IBIS summit?
- Anders: We could invite Bruce to present on FSV

AR: Bob ask Bruce Archambeault to present on FSV at the DAC summit

Next meeting will be May 18

Meeting ended at 12:04 PM Eastern Time.
